Research in the Prisinzano group is characterized by rigorous attention to the influence of chemical structure on biological activity. Our studies have predominantly focused on (a) the design and synthesis of novel biological probes for study of the mechanism of action of drugs of abuse and (b) the development of agents for the treatment and prevention of drug abuse.
The lab is located on the sixth floor of the Healthy Kentucky Research Building (HKRB), which is situated on the Medical Campus in downtown Lexington, Kentucky.
